Guest guest
Dear Wendy, Silly question if I may - did they record the TOB as of when he was full out, or as of when he was fully out AND the umbelical cord was cut? For Caesarians, is the same method of time used, i.e. the cutting of the cord? Sorry about asking the obvious - I haven't given birth yet. Nor caused someone else to. Sateesh. ======== - "Wendy Vasicek" <wenvas <gjlist> 12 January 2002 11:57 Re: [GJ] How is it possible?...Arthur Re: [GJ] How is it possible?...from zamaniAlso Arthur: The birth occurs when the baby is separated from the mother, not when the head appears (the crowning). This is a widely held belief that has been irrevocably proven with the birth of my own Son who had crowned but, due to complications, couldn't be delivered for another 2hrs (aprox).
