What is the sanskrit term for these? And is there a reference, modern or classical, for these progressions? I had heard about Raman's use of the navamsha progressions, but wasn't sure where to find it. Funny, I'd been using something like these for a while on my own without knowing their origins. I guess it just goes to show there's nothing new under the sun! What is different, though, is whether people actually use them or they gather dust in the dark closet of half-forgotten astrological techniques.
