Nakshatras

Dear Wendy and everyone,

I think I am getting a glimmer of the use of the nakshatras. If

a transiting planet is in an certain nakshatra, and that nakshatra is

ruled by, say, Saturn, then the Rasi influence of Saturn will apply to

the transit as well as the planet itself. Or, another way to try to

explain it to myself, if the Moon is in a Nashaktra of Venus, then I

will see how a transiting moon and its aspects affect a natal Mercury,

and I must also consider how Venus is aspecting that natal Mercury in

the Rasi chart to predict what is happening.

Do I have that right?
