Dear Manoj ji,

Thanks for your mail - Ms Wendy has explaned this specific query (coiled birth &

death) which seems to be quite satisfactory to my beginner's mind.

However, I have been unable to understand Jupiter's signification in my chart,

in spite of all the guidance that I have received and my extensive reading

This JU® in my 8H in rasi chart - where it is 3L & 6L (LI lagna) - even in D9

it is in 8H, though exalted in CAN and is lord of 1 & 4; its placement in other

div-charts is much better.[if I recollect correctly, I had posted my chart also

[ Feb 8, 1954; 23:45; Jullundur - 75 E 33' , 31 N 20']

Any advice/ guidance in this connection will be welcome - especially about the

rules to be followed in this connection.

Shailesh,

You should take the Arudha pada of the 5th house and

you would find the reason your first born's departure

from this world.

This pada is determined by finding out the number of

houses the 5th lord is away from the 5th house. In

your your case, the 5th house lord (Saturn) is 9

houses away from the 5th house. Then you should count

9 houses away from that position (Libra). By doing

so, you will arrive at the arudha pada of the 5th

house. This will be Gemini in your case.

>From Gemini, the 5th house is Libra which is occupied

by Saturn and Venus the lord of the house is combust.

In the navamsa, Venus is debilitated which further

afflicts the 5th house.

Aside from looking at Jupiter in the 8th house, this

method is an additional test to validate the reason

why your first born had difficulties.

I believe the location of Jupiter in the 8th has other

significations. At best, it could be considered in a

Vipareeta Yoga position, which can be good for you

monetarily. At worst, it could signify the need for

you to watch your health and diet.

Regards,

John R.
