His prediction goes back to 1995. I think we have to pay attention to paternity issues here, as its common practice for astrologers to steal others' predictions and claim them as their own. This happened to Houck himself on several occasions. Anyway, I think it's a mistake to make a fetish out of dates, and just look for basic timing parameters. So if Houck predicts Jan 25 for the crash and it ends up happening on Wed the 30th, does that make him wrong? Not at all, it's a very specific event that's only a few days out. It would still show the correctness, or at least usefulness, of his techniques. FWIW, I know some Thai astrologers are predicting a crash around this time, so maybe there are a few other voices out there talking about the same thing.
