Guest guest
Just wishing you well during this period which has to be very significant and can be a very positive growth time. I'm not a very experience Vedic astrologer. My first instinct was to look at the Mahadasha and sub-periods. But without the exact time I don't know how accurate that would be. When my mother died I had a uranus/moon opposition (I think) in my western chart...I haven't looked at the Vedic one. And she did die suddenly. Guest guest
Dear All I've been conspicuously quiet in the past two weeks because my mother is dying. She has always been verrry Kapha and the process is amazing her care givers because they thought she would certainly pass on Monday. I am accepting. She has been in the deep sleep of near death for two weeks. I hold in my heart that she is free to take her time. If you knew my mother you would understand that she always took her time <big grins>. I can see it in my natal chart. Rahu natally in my 12th now approaching Mars lord of my 4th at 28 GE. I don't see it in her chart. Please understand that she is an enigma. For the past 10 years about this time of year she would have some traumatic incident. She nearly died the 1st time about 10 years ago during my Sadi Sati. Historically, she would become depressed and sort of hibernate at this time each year and start to come out of it on her birthday March 13th. At first my siblings (I am one of 5) and I thought she would rise again, but the reality set in. I guess what I am asking you much more experienced Vedic astrologers than I is this. Is this a typical death cycle for one who is very kapha? Her exact time of birth is not known. She was told it was around sundown. I adjusted it to 6:30pm beacue this places Mars and Rahu in the 2nd and she has had a very sharp tougue to the very end. Almost as if she didn't know how to talk without criticism. She also felt very entitled to her anger. My siblings and I always felt that she would have been happier had she not had children. She said that was not true, but the lord of the 5th in the 12th would make sense. She was also reclusive. I grew up on a small farm and she might even be considered agoraphobic for months and eventually years. She has been bed ridden for about 7years. It is truly amazing that her heart and lungs keep on. She also has been at anywhere from 75- 150 pounds overweight all of her adult life. I give you this data and ask that you help me understand how you see death of the native within the chart. If you do not feel up to going here, I understand. As an astrologer, I have just gotten to this point of trying to see it in her chart today. Her data March 13 1920 6:30pm Bellaire OH. thank you for reading all this, cynthia

Guest guest
Dear Cynthia, We all share your sorrow, but such sorrows are inevitable part of life. So be brave, and strong and wish her peacefull journey to God. I cannot at the moment, do rectification, but instead cast a Prashna.. Please note that I do not have much experinence in Prashna, and still learning it. However, let's give it a try: I was given Dhanu Lagna, so Karyesh is 4th house Guru and is in 7th house in mithuna in Rx. The prashna was put in the Hora of Guru, so It would relate to Both Self and Mother(lagnesh and 4th lord). This is futher confiremed by Guru position in 4th house in Navamsa in debilitation. Chandra significatior both for mother and mind is placed in 6th in rashi with Shani and Rahu(severe pains and unconsciousness) while further Rahu and Chandra are placed in 12th house of Navamsa Chart. So the query again is about illness of mother which is confirmed by Guru position in Rahu nakshatra. 8th lord chandra is in 6th house but in deeptanesh with Guru karyesh, though there is no significant relationship. Chandra is faster graha and is moving towards karyesh guru which is Rx and is moving towards Chandra. The difference of Degrees is around 12, so in 12 hours/12 days the situation would get worse. You may chant Mritunjaya Mantra to ease the pains.. Guest guest
Cynthia, As you well know, your mother is under the influence of many maraka planets. In particular, the planets in the 64th navamsa are Jupiter and Ketu. The bhukti of these planets could be fatal. Also, in the near term, the only planet in transit that would cross your mother's 64th navamsa is the Moon. That would happen on February 25, 2002. I hope you're holding up well to the stress of this time of your life. I've lost my parents a few years ago too. So, I can understand the feelings you're going through now. Take life as it comes. Guest guest
Dear John and all Thank you for the kind and compassionate messages. I'm in a good place. I have accepted that she is in the process of death I only hate that she must be in discomfort as her body fills with fluid and toxins. She always said that she didn't want to prolong the process so her treatment has been limited in this last 11 days to fluids and pain medication. It is amazing to me that the body is so strong considering the lack of physical activity for so many years. I have heard of the 64th navamsa but have never used it. I have seen the transit of the Moon as a timing trigger. My sense is that she will pass at any time. So the prasna of 12 hours is possible and the 25th is also a strong possibility. Of 5 children, 2 of us are in Texas and my brother is the child she was closest to throughout their lives. He is on his way to Ohio where she is and my guess is that she will hold on until he arrives. I have always been close to my older siblings and talk to them regularly. I'll go for the funeral and support them as best as I can. My heart is at peace as is one of my sisters who sees my mother daily. The others are in and out of peace but this is something that we have prepared for. It makes such a difference knowing that the end of the body is not the end of the spirit. Again, thank you all. cynthia - John Rasonabe <jr_esq <gjlist> Friday, February 22, 2002 7:34 PM Re: [GJ] Death > Cynthia, > > As you well know, your mother is under the influence > of many maraka planets. Guest guest
Dear Debra and all Thank you for your kind words and compassion. The funeral was really sweet and my heart is light with the knowledge that she if free from her body. She has been virtually bedridden for 6 or maybe 7 years. She would only get up with assistance to sit in a wheel chair and she really did that very seldom in the past few years. There was a great sense of liberation and celebration as well as the sadness for the separation. cynthia - Debra Quinn Mehren gjlist Friday, March 01, 2002 3:11 AM Re: [GJ] Death DEar Cynthia May all the blessings and peace be with you and your family on your mother's passing. dqm - cynthia novak gjlist Monday, February 25, 2002 9:49 AM Re: [GJ] Death Dear All My mother passed this morning about 5:30pm.
