Guest guest
Dear Cynthia, Nice to talk to you again. What an extraordinary post. As you probably read, I have those 'huge gathering of planets in Capricorn' in the 5th (four to be exact, three benefics and the Sun), and I was born in February 1950. Ra in 7th House, Ke in 1st House, conjunct Mars aspected by Ra and Ju, Mo in 3rd house ruled by Mars and aspected by Ra, and SaR in 12th House aspected by Ra. I would imagine that's enough to drive anybody over the edge, particularly if ascendant lord Mer (in Vargottoma) is also afflicted. Perhaps, it occured to me today, that because I joined alcoholics anonymous when I was 31, that perhaps I was destined to die (nearly died at 8 years old and 26), but that the Divine had other ideas for me because of the Vipareet Yoga, Laksmi Yoga and numerous Raja yogas in my chart that not only allowed me to survive, but to have an incredible more 22 years of life and a very successful career as a magazine editor one day at a time. I would be most interested in this research you have. Could these gathering of planets in Capricorn be a link in some way between these particular individuals? Would be really rather interesting since I was born at the tip of Africa, a rather remote location from the US of A even though it was the spiritual programme from US of A that saved my life. I was interested also that you assumed this would apply to schizophrenics. Was there a particular reason for this? Since I counsel in AA it would help me in my voluntary work with this hideous disease of alcoholism. I've found the folks that I turned up to be very good at business and the business vary from realestate (2) to an adult / topless bar. The woman whose husband did "go over the edge" is a massage therapist and does a solid business, so hard work and business are part of this combination. > I was interested also that you assumed this would apply to schizophrenics. > Was there a particular reason for this? I have noticed that several of these folks in my client list study with gurus or are in 12-step programs of some sort. The intensity of the Capricorn grouping seems to send you looking and hopefully finding an anchor. c > > > > > > - > "cynthia novak" <c.a.novak > <gjlist> > Sunday, March 31, 2002 4:16 PM > Re: [GJ] Jupiter afflictions > > > > Dear All > > I ran a seach of all my charts in my Vedic program to find any with > Jupiter > > debilitated and combust. Guest guest
Dear Cynthia, I obviously did not make my question clear enough. (Must be a retrograde Mercury lurking around somewhere). I am fascinated by these groupings of planets in Capricorn. Have two in my family and at least three from people from work and have only just started to collect charts, so that's a pretty high percentage. Sorry to belabor the point, but, in your experience as an astrologer, what conclusions have you come to regarding such groupings, besides those already mentioned by you? Surely, and forgive my ignorance it I am jumping to conclusions, this should indicate certain characteristics or destinies that have a similar pattern? For instance, you mentioned intensity. Do tight groupings of planets like that indicate intensity? And why in Cap? Or do *all* such groupings indicate intensity? no matter what rasi? (One just has to look at Ted Bundy's chart to know the relevance of your remark) Btw: I find that the combust graha brings internalised characteristics of the graha, not necessarily the externalised. So, in my case, Jupiter combust (and as it is cancelled in navamsa with being in exhaltation it is not really relevant), would mean that I operate from the internalised benefits of Jupiter but it does not play out in my life as well as it should externally. Would you agree? Cheers - Robyn - "cynthia novak" <c.a.novak <gjlist> Monday, April 01, 2002 5:46 AM Re: [GJ] Jupiter afflictions/Cynthia > > > Dear Cynthia, > > > > Nice to talk to you again.
