This is one of those areas that I've rarely seen discussed in great detail - usually you see professions like medicine or law hashed out to death. Strong Jupiter particularly in the 10th house could be a karaka for teaching . Air signs because they convey are also more associated with teaching than those of the other elements . Mercury ruling speech and communication should also be strong . I've seen more Gemini Lagnas than others in this profession . The level of teaching can be given by the houses 2nd for primary ,5th for intermediate and 9th for advanced or spiritual.
