Guest guest Posted April 17, 2002 Report Share Posted April 17, 2002 Dear Listers, I have recently encountered two instances where a native was supposedly afflicted with the curse of a snake ( the practitioner who said this explained that killing a snake results in such a curse). What the practitioner failed to explain was whether the summation of a curse was deduced by the Kundali or by clairvoyance. The native remarks the closest he came was witnessing a snake killed in his compound by two of his employees. While I have heard about curses, is there any aspect of astrology that covers such curses, and prescribes remedial measures? In the cas of a native as above who has no incidence instances where an act can be corroborated, is it possible that it is an earlier birth leftover? How do we determine that and what do we do? I would greatly appreciate your inputs as this is a subject of misery for the anative in question who is being asked to perform Poojas of an expensive nature at a time when he can ill afford it. Guest guest Posted April 17, 2002 Report Share Posted April 17, 2002 I have heard of this many times. for this remedy is a pooja called as "narayan nagbali" and which is performed only in nashik ( in india in maharashtra). but i don't know where do you stay. so i am unable to determine if that is suitable for you or not. i don't have details of the pooja but if you want to i can check and find details and inform you. First the person comes for some advice. The "reader" looks deeply and quickly sees that the person is under a curse. The reader will lift the curse of bad relationships and other woes for a stout fee. The reader offers to do some ritual but the big emphasis is that this is a life-or-death matter and that big money needs to be spent very soon or it cannot be lifted. The person is told that he cannot lift the curse himself... $$$ One of the worst I heard was a woman who was told that her sister's baby would be born deformed if sister did not come up with $$$ to have the curse lifted. I'm sorry to hear that this is international. Here in TX I've heard of it coming from some eastern European and some Mexicanpractitioners. Note I am not lumping all together, just some. My response is that God or the Gods do not listen selectively and if the person does indeed feel cursed, that doing ritual with a loving heart and generous spirit that feels appropriate. I do understand the validity of ritual. I am very suspicious when a person is told he has a curse for something that he did not do and that the only way out of it is big money. One does not need money for God's Blessings they are not for sale dispite the efforts of scam artists to exploit people and market something they can't give. I am not suggesting genuine saints, and Siddhas are not of great benefit, but God lives in your heart and nothing is hidden from God, and if you approach the Divine with love and sincerity, your response will be equal to your ability to receive.
