Although not all the mexicans are bad against women, their is something in the

culture that shows some prejudices against women.

 

Of course, there are some positive conditionments like the one left by old

cultures regarding walking in the streets with a lady. A mexican man has the

conditionment to walk on the side of the road, keeping the lady to walk on the

side of the wall. This peculiar conditionment can be traced as having started

some time ago, perhaps in the 18 century, when some men in horses used to

kidnap ladies walking on the side of the road. Since then, gentlemen keep

ladies to walk on the side of the wall, to avoid being kidnapped by bandits in

horses. A nice conditionment.

 

Then we have a mexican joke which i hope you can understand and like.

 

A mexican couple was walking in the mountains. He was driving on his donkey,

and his good wife was walking behind carrying a heavy bunch of wood. A man on

the road (probably a foreign that did not understand that culture), asked the

man "Why do you allow your wife to walk and carry that heavy load?". The man

in the donkey did look back at his wife and did answer, "Because she does not

has a donkey".
