Guest guest
Dear Nitin you <<The one thing is that there has always been debate between the 5th & 9th about the past life. I have not experimented in this area, as I believe that one should be more comfortable with the divisional charts in this matter. I have also been taught that the 5th is for the past. I believe this to be true.>> me I believe that from the 5th house we can see previous lives and from the 9th house we can see future lives, and from the 1st house we can read the present life. Although the 5th house can show in a superficial way previous lives, i would advise the reading of a nadi horoscope to find out a more elaborate explanation of a previous life. Intuition plays a very important role in reading each house. I have met with Vedic astrologers that can tell you about a previous life with the help of their intuition. And they describe facts very well and precise, but a problem is if you are ready to handle the truth. However, once that you have heard their explanations, it is possible to read those trends from the 5th house. Therefore, it is not a "blind faith" requirement, it is a science and the evidence can be read. you <<I have always been curious about the past, but have never had anyone do a more in-depth reading. >> me That curiosity is inherent in humans because animals do not have that curiosity. The past is very important because it indicates the foundations of this present life. According to our deeds done in a previous life, born out of our intentions, desires and karma, that we are given a body suitable to our karmic development. When you come to the stage of really needing a reading of your past life, you will meet the right astrologer/s to do that. you <<Perhaps at a later stage.....>> me Wait and see you<<I don't know if this is related, but I find myself going back to my past several times -- a reflection of the past few years. I have always been aware of my surroundings or at least, more sensitive to things abounding life. It surely has to do with Mercury & Ketu Dashas. More on this later......>> ..me If 3 + 2 + 5 = 10, we know that we have a mathematical sequence. Life is also like a mathematical sequence, we are the product of the past, and a like bridge to the future. We can learn to see the general trends of our life by observing the general events that come to us as a test or a challenge, to pass certain lessons.you <<But thanks on the introduction you gave -- it was a nice revision and also reaffirming what I have grasped. >> me I did write that article by taking into consideration newcomers. I have read that in Germany, towards the beginning of the 2nd World War, 1 in 4 Germans knew how to read an ephemeris and therefore they knew how to read the astrological predictions given in some magazines, although names were not given. Many predictions were given in this way about Hitler, and therefore, many readers had an idea of the things to come. One of the first things that Hitler did was to destroy all astrology books because he knew that his intentions and future could be read by astrologers. Newcomers to Vedic astrology are welcome and they should be given an easy introduction to this science. I read in a Vedic astrology list in French, that a lady was asking about how long it would take before feeling confident enough to do readings in Vedic astrology. Years ago, one of my students asked me a similar question. She had been studying Western astrology for 10 years but Vedic was new to her. I did tell her that it takes about a year of Vedic astrology studies, before feeling confident enough to start to do readings. Of course, we are supposed to study, otherwise we will not learn at all. But just a couple of hours a week, every week, and in a year, anybody will be able to start doing readings (in average). you <<The Tara Bal's was something new to me! I'll be more aware of that while examining charts. >> me Please do not take my writings for granted, you should practice and see for yourself if it works for you. Your own intuition will tell you which systems work better for you. you <<Thanks for reading so far. Best wishes, as always.>> me Welcome, and the same for you. May God bless, Natabara Das
