Renee,

I've read reports long ago --originally from about 200 years ago--about the

black folks on one of the Carribean Islands speaking Gaelic, too. Yes, they

were also Irish--it's acuurrate--Cromwell and other Brit kings hated the

Irish with such venom that they were sent as slaves to the islands owned by

the British as slaves...

By the way--the Cherokees are doing pretty well as a tribe these days--both

tribes of them. They are the most populous and I think perhaps the richest

in tthe US. Neqrly everyone in Oklahoma is partialy native Ameircan BTW. We

all intermarried in the beginning of the 20th century or else slightly

earlier to get in on the Indian land before the rest of the white-only

couples got to it.

And there are no reservations here, Nadia, in Oklahoma. The reservations

are everywhere else...in other states.

Best Wishes,

Denise

That may be true however the statement was that Santeria developed by the mix of

Celt's and whoever when in fact it developed on a much larger scale and not by

direct association with the Celt's. If you read the history in the links that

I sent, you will see what I am talking about.
