Guest guest
Just happened to notice that the old USA chart that I used for years with good results: 7-4th 1776 2:15am, has Uranus on the Asc. I suspect that is why this time was chosen as Uranus is the planet of revolution and afterall it was the decision to revolt. Anyway, the ASC for this chart is 17 TA, Rahu is currently there, the Dec. eclipse is 18 SC and the fixed star of war Antares is currently at 16 Scorpio. Anyone have any ideas? BTW, I used this USA chart when I predicted in print and on my website that if there would be a terrorist attack on the US in 2001 it would be the week of 9-10-2001. Did not get the day right but still pretty close. Anyone else use this chart? c
Guest guest
Dear Cynthia Why do you use 2 .15 AM ? I have seen this chart with a Libra ,Scorpio and Sagittarius ascendents and have had others recommend Gemini .As a non-American I am a bit confused . Guest guest
Dear Nicholas Well, that is the $1,000,000 question <grins> Years ago an astrologer whose name I do not recall used the adjusted time of 2:15am. Since then there has been great controversy over that time, including pretty clear information that this was not at all likely the time that the Dec. of Independence was really signed. Still, I did not know that at the time and had really good results using that chart. Good enough to nail the 9-11th date and others. If you use that one, which astrologers tend to agree really does fit the US's personality, you see the Saturn transit of the 2nd and the slowed economy, Uranus hitting the Moon on 9-11th and the Moon viewed as the people of a nation as well as the planets on Rahu on 9-11 transiting the 2nd house of economics. Anyway, I've gone back to it. I believe that James Kelleher made a good argument for another chart, but it just does not "feel" right. I've tried the chart for the constitution. Anyway, this was all argued to exhaustion on www.Astrodatabank.com last year. The only think I can say is that this chart has Uranus on the lagna and it is a revolution planet. I guess for me this is as good a chart as any and better for my divination than most. Grins. Do you think there may be some mystical reason that the charts of countries are so hard to discern? c - "Nicholas" <jyotish108 <gjlist> Friday, September 27, 2002 4:16 AM Re: [GJ] Re: The Dec. eclipse....again > Dear Cynthia > Why do you use 2 .15 AM ? Guest guest
Dear Cynthia Your predictions concerning September 11 was certainly outstanding .However since the time you used is unlikely to be correct this raises the question do astrolgers make correct predictions on wrong charts .B V Raman was famous for this and he also used an incorrect ayanamsha . The question concerning national charts is interesting because quite often the creation of a state is not a unitary event . Nations are also diverse .Texans are different from Californains who are in turn different to New Yorkers .Trying to fit an American Psyche into a single chart is thus more complex than fitting an individual's psyche to his/her chart ..Also one part of a nation can prosper while another struggles . So for me trying to do a whole lot with a national chart is for the very accomplished . Kind regards Nicholas > Dear Nicholas > Well, that is the $1,000,000 question <grins> > Years ago an astrologer whose name I do not recall used the adjusted time of > 2:15am. Guest guest
Dear Nicholas I wish I knew the answer to that. It is difficult to know what is THE chart of a nation. Sometimes I feel that astrology is best used for human interaction and self evolution than prediction. I even suspect that there is some sort of divine plan that keeps us from knowing too much too often. c - "Nicholas" <jyotish108 <gjlist> Saturday, September 28, 2002 4:20 PM Re: [GJ] Re: The Dec. eclipse....again > Dear Cynthia > Your predictions concerning September 11 was certainly outstanding ..However > since the time you used is unlikely to be correct this raises the question > do astrolgers make correct predictions on wrong charts .B V Raman was > famous for this and he also used an incorrect ayanamsha . > The question concerning national charts is interesting because quite often > the creation of a state is not a unitary event . > Nations are also diverse .Texans are different from Californains who are in > turn different to New Yorkers .Trying to fit an American Psyche into a > single chart is thus more complex than fitting an individual's psyche to > his/her chart ..Also one part of a nation can prosper while another > struggles . > So for me trying to do a whole lot with a national chart is for the very > accomplished . > Kind regards > Nicholas > > > > > > Dear Nicholas > > Well, that is the $1,000,000 question <grins> > > Years ago an astrologer whose name I do not recall used the adjusted time > of > > 2:15am.
