Dear Sateesh,

 

I really think you owe Das an apology for that. That is disgusting. This

was an extremely difficult time for all of us and that kind of judgemental

attitude is not called for.

 

Because I had to ensure a very similar thing for more than eight years in my

life, I had to be treated for post traumatic stress yesterday and will no

doubt have recurring nightmares again as I did for so long during a similar

incident in my life. Please be aware that there are people in other parts of

the world who are under severe strains because of the politics, or whatever

of their own countries and come to this list to find solace, a community,

and peace.

Hundreds of people care about me, and they let me know, because I've given

my life to these kinds of causes and it shows.

 

Also, I've made the sacrifice, YES SACRIFICE, of making my life very public,

so it BEHOOVES ME to set them AT EASE after I post something about myself

Dear J I Abbot

Thanks for expressing your concern .I know Sateesh is a generous contributor to

many jyotish lists who has been a bit dismayed by the developments over the

last week .Hopefully the list will return to kinder more respectful dealings

and we won't have to forego Sateesh's insightful and helpful participation .He

is often the only person who makes himself available to real newcomers to

jyotish .
