Not to confuse things- I have no problem personally testing all astrological

systems for function. I'm not personally stuck on being loyalistic to the

books on Jyotish. Period.

 

However, my problems personally are around the impact of religious thought

on my life directly, and this is not about Jyotish books, though Jyotish

knowledge has played a part in this in me, but not just one book, or school,

no way, but the meer fact that I see so much Jyotish functioning so well,

has convinced me alot about karma, fate, predeterminism, and this has added

to the troubling of my soul.

 

When that is combined with the thoughts of soul, God, sin/bad karma, maya,

and combined with how I see people eating bad, thinking thoughts that go

nowehere, being into lower things, violence increasing, war never ending,

good practices never taken up, basically I see a world that is going

negative alot, but also coming out, and I try to find a place in it all, and

it just seems hard. I'm left always with "help out", and I try, but the

aloneness came, and I can't work out constantly "helping out" and being yet

alone. It doesn't make sense.

 

So please understand, I AM not a person who is saying "KP is bad", or that

"Jaimini is bad", or that "Houck is bad". In fact, Rick Houck and I worked

closely. I wrote for his book, I put all his main techniques into my

software, and talked to him regularly, and I think, we really liked each

other, though I think he disliked my religiosity quite a bit. He told me

some recommendations out of love for me. I liked him. We always smiled for

real when we met at the conferences.
