Guest guest
Hello Andrew and others, I'm sorry I'm again talking about myself as I've been warned. I have to say, my problems do not relate to my spiritual training, my knowledge, my talents, as those are all good and useful. I should be, and could be, using them for good, for myself and others. They are good. The Vedic spiritual view is grand, and I know alot about it, and can work for it on Earth, and have. My problem is "reward", which is neurotransmitter related, dietary related, and yes, life issues related. Yesterday I was reading "Encyclopaedia of Celtic Wisdom" by John and Caitlin Mathews. Therein, they relate a set of Druidic teachings that relate to my problem. They describe the ancient knowledge of the 3 cauldrons of warming, one being in the stomach, one in the heart, one in the head. The one in the stomach relates to life itself, bodily function, the one in the heart is called the Cauldron of Vocation, and relates to my problems, and the one in the head can be upset by upset in the heart one, and relates to spirituality. The heart area one can be upset by various things, many of which I've experienced. My vocational area of life is struggling for life for years, being upset by emotional trauma of various types. I know from reading and other studying that dopamine, addiction to pleasure causing drugs, and neurotransmitters of dopamine, the reward system in the brain, are all related. (I'm not taking any drugs for a long time now) I know that some have found that raw/vegan diet cures many problems. It's hard to do it, start it in life, when you feel down. It seems austere at first, greatly so. I just want to end this and say, that any connecting of spirituality as a flawed system of understanding to my problems, is seriously off the mark. That's all I want to say. I do not want to complain to or bother this list with my problems, except in any hope that it might help others, or might help others to help me. But I've said enough. This is a very serious issue. It's clear that the Celts in general are somewhat cursed as a race in this regard. That is documented fact. I see from studying their ancient culture that they had societal integration and support in a big way. To feel "lonely" and "sad" for Irish descent people is a very often foregone conclusion, it seems. But I don't want to make it so by saying it. I don't want to add trouble to mine or anybody's life. Quite the contrary, I live for making happiness and solutions. I wish you all peace of mind, and happiness, and fulfillment in life, and progress on the paths that take you there. I do not decry any system of belief, or any knowledge, that helps you find it for yourself. Peace and Love, das goravani
