Saturn's Retrograde motion and effects.

Hi all,

Can some body please clarify the exact details regarding the

Saturn's Retrograde motion? I learned that, the retrograde Saturn

will enter the sign Taurus from Gemeni by the end of November 2002.

Is this true? According to some people in USA (San fransisco's

Almanac), this will not be happening this year. I am also wondering

what effects this will have in general?

Saturn retrogrades into Taurus on January 8th. Mars moves into Scorpio on

January 7th. The day might change by one depending upon your time zone.

I guess I am confused!! Isn't Saturn retrograde NOW?? OK, help me out

here. I know that the vedic chart differs from the western by approx. 24

degrees. Saturn went retrograde in October and will remain so until

sometime after the new year. (don't have a vedic ephemeris). Do the

retrograde periods coincide with each other. Or do we experience two

retrograde periods depending what system you are looking at??
