Dear Learned Members,

I recently read the article about Dasamsa and rise and fall in

career, by Satya Prakash with great interest. It is an excellent

article, and I must

compliment the writer for sharing his knowledge and experiences with

us, and all other members for sharing their views with us.

I was trying to apply some of the principles laid out in the article

to one horoscope. The horoscope is of a software engineer, who had a

very good career in India, Japan and is now in USA. During last two

years he has been having some professional difficulties. He has been

running Saturn Dasha since April 2000. The details of the horoscope

are:-

Birth February, 17, 1958

Time: 16:42

Place: Mount Abu, Rajasthan, India (24.5 N; 72.38 E)

Janam Kundli (D-1):

1) Cancer Lagna

2) Jupiter and Rahu in 4th house.

3) Saturn and Yog Karak Mars in 6th house.

4) Venus, LL Moon, and Mercury in 7th house

5) Sun in 8th house

6) Ketu in 10th house.

Dashmansa (D-10):

1) Lagna Gemini.

2) Ketu in 3rd house in Leo

3) Saturn in 4th house in Virgo

4) Venus in 6th house in Scorpio

5) Jupiter in 7th house in Sagitarus

6) Rahu in 9th house in Aquarius

7) Sun in 10th house in Pisces.

8) Moon and Mercury in 11th house in Aries

9) Mars in 12th house in Taurus.

The main weekness is placement of 10th Lord Mars in 6th in D-1, and

in 12th in D-10.

1) How will be Saturn Dasha for his career?

2) He is about to Start Saturn Dasha, Mercury Antra Dasha from April

2003. Will the situation improve in this period?

3) Will he settle abroad or return back to India?

Thanks to all the learned members.

With regards

Vivek
