Guest guest
Dear Anna, I see you have already caught me using SA ;-) and .... no, I haven't any psychic abilities - LOL! When I wrote my answer to Dymock I tried to keep to his usual request to signal only the most significant transits, progressions or other methods used, as he usually just summarizes answers himself afterwards (though he didn't this time). You are right that such an analysis lacks in clarity, so here goes for a better description of my try: - first event: the back operation: the native has a Leo ascendant, and I took Leo and 1st lord Sun to represent the spine. Saturn represents bones in general. The natal chart has Mars casting a close fourth aspect to Saturn. Mars is a functional benefic, but does not lose its signification of surgery, etc. I wouldn't normally take surgeries as "bad" events per se, except possibly in cases of emergency operations/life danger. So I took Mars aspecting Saturn as indicating a surgery needed for recovery, thus a positive event. Mars in transit was back to its natal position, re-aspecting Saturn and thus creating the potential, while the most significant transit appeared to be Saturn closely aspecting its own natal position (and in the 10th house, which would represent bones again)....bones were indicated not once but many times on this date! Another transit which seemed very important was Sun (spine) in the 11th. I actually took this to mean "recovery" (though I don't think this is SA). Finally, the pratyantara was Rahu, indicating tensions and 'activation' (Rahu highly activates whatever it comes into contact with). Rahu in transit at 12 Gemini was activating by trinal aspect (SA) the natal Sun-Moon configuration in Libra. Natal Sun debilitated in Libra confirmed a weak back and the Moon would have signified hospitalization - second event: husband left her: the bhukti changed to Rahu, which confirmed to me it would be a more difficult period, with tensions and disillusionments. Rahu (true) posited in 6th in Navamsha appeared to show the natal promise of tensions and conflicts in marriage. I took the pratyantara as confirming the cause of the problems: Jupiter is its natural signification of husband. Jupiter was transiting the 12th house of loss near the mep, while Saturn as primary significator for spouse for Leo lagnas was too weak in transit (infancy at 1 degree) to give any help. There was also a repetition of a natal pattern, which I didn't mention in my answer to Dymock: transit Mars conjunct transit Venus with practically the same orb as in the natal chart: this alerted me to domestic issues (as the natal conjunction occurs in 4th) - this is definitely not SA btw! The final straw seemed to be the Moon's transit (loss again) aspecting nt Saturn/husband. - last event: snake bite: here I had to go only by a differential analysis of transits with respect to the preceding date, not wanting to go into uncertain 4th level periods. As natal promise I took the sign Scorpio to show potential danger by poison: Ketu and Venus (Ve = venous system) in Scorpio while Navamsha asc was Scorpio as well. Again a repetition of a natal pattern occurred in transit: Ke and Ve in Scorpio again. The Rahu bhukti would have been particularly significant for a snake bite and the nodal return in transit would have been the most likely time. So why on the last date? Well, other than the above mentioned pattern repetition, I simply imagined that the snake bite *would* be a poisonous one and snake poison often affects the nervous system. Mercury was transiting the 6th house: possible illness to nervous system. The final straw was another repetition of a natal configuration: a Sun-Moon association again. Sun: (general health) and Moon (loss, hospitalization). Such a repetition occurs every month so wouldn't be particularly indicative in itself of course, but acted here as further trigger. I appreciated Zoran's and Gisela's analyses and was glad to see that we all shared some points. About your question if this method works consistently, I find it does work quite well for me, although I do not yet have enough experience to really say. best, Maddalena - jb gjlist Tuesday, February 25, 2003 6:50 PM RE: [GJ]Test 75-Maddelena/transit,SA Dear Maddelena, Congratulations!
