Guest guest
Hi list, Rahu and ketu normally take 18 years to complete one cycle(360 deg) and return to the same position. My date of birth is 8th april 1966 and the positions of rahu and ketu in my birth chart are degrees 4-06-44 of taurus and scorpio respectively.I will be completing 37 yrs soon but the nodes are yet to complete 2 cycles. It is going to take much longer than 37 yrs.Why is it so? Another question --- Does the return of the nodes to their original position as in the natal chart have any particular effect? best wishes, vivek. Guest guest
Vivek It takes a little longer than 18 years -- usually around 18.5 years so that's fine. And there is some variation on the average revolution as well so I wouldn't pay too much attention to it. As far as "Rahu returns" goes, I don't think they mean anything much, except maybe if you're running a Rahu period. So if Rahu is strong and well placed natally, then it might bring good things, and the converse is true as well.
