Guest guest
List Members and Babu, I would like to thank you all for your tips on where to find the birth time of the US Constitution, so to speak. But I still could not find it. I have found out that there is no definite documentation on the time of the adoption of the declaration of independence. But anyway, this time does not seem to be as significant to me as the time for the adoption of the constitution. These states can have an existence separate from Britain under various schemes of government- I am even worried that, in the future, they may bind themselves to some kind of world government. The independence chart doesnotseem to beindicative of this particular government, i.e., under this constitution. There was even a whole government after the declaration during the revolution, with a continental congress and a president, John Hanson of Maryland. Then there was a government under the Articles of Confederation. I really think that the moment of the adoption of the constitution of this government, which has gone on for 200 years, would be the most definitive time. But I see nomention ofit. I'll be out of station for a week. YS, Dharmapad
