Apart from Anna's thorough answer to this question, I might add: If Mars is combust, you will get the opposite result, i.e. modest, dispassionate, and respectful. This will be true, even if Sun/Mars are in the sign of Leo in lagna. The native will also be intelligent, spiritually inclined, and a very good servant.
