Guest guest Posted August 4, 2003 Report Share Posted August 4, 2003 Supposedly, if one chants the main mantra, the big one, 3 times, then the short one 108 times, each day, WITHOUT SKIPPING A DAY then one will find a good wife very soon. The Brahmin who gave me this had many examples, even odd ones that could not or should not have worked. So they have alot of faith in it. Myself, I want Gaelic version with Pagan Goddess instead. If it's all the same, I prefer my ancestors tongue on such things. I'm tired of begging to India for everything. It's enough that they feed us the seed. At least we can use our own language. No thanks to Caesar for screwing up everything just for his personal greed. Interesting anecdote: Ancient cultures often sacrificed children to God. These days, we say they were savages, and we do it instead inside hospitals and flush the corpse down the toilet. And as before, it's usually the first born, most often, that gets sacrificed, er, aborted. New clean word, same activity, no God consciousness anymore.
