Guest guest
And the Romans feared the Scott Celts so much that they built the Wall of Hadrian to keep them out! The Irish Celts let the Norse form a colony in the area where Dublin is now. Why? Well they were at least worthy opponents to sharpen their war skills on...... The Irish codex of laws was very complex, and included what colors one could wear based on stature within society. There were no written lawbooks, just the Behan (vaughn) who carried the entire codex, and rulings in their heads and were traveling circuit judges. And their rulings bound even the Ri, or kings.
