In Krushnas Ashtakavarg system we need to know the bindus of each planet. Basically once we know that we know how other planets are placed in the chart and if they are helping the planet or a house or not. Once we get that we can cast the Sarvashtakavarga chart and get how much strength each house gets. Once you get infomration then we can start to see strength. Your question on strengthened ascendent I do not understand ? What strength are you refering to.. are you refering to " Quality " or " Length of life " ? Are you refering to the persons body from recovering from an illness ... I find your question very vague... With this system you can chart out the worksheet. Download that from the file section if you already have not. Then as a thumb rule if all the points in 8th house are high then it " could " mean early death... if points in 6th house are high then recovery from illness can be quick.. ofcourse things depend on status of Mars etc etc etc......
