To anyone who has heard of this college,

I've come across this website, www.floridavediccollege.edu, and

realized that there is a college teaching Vedic Science in Florida.

I browsed their website and found that its teachings are based on the

same teachings of Swami Prabhupada. Has anyone heard of, or attended

this college? I believe it was established about 10 years ago. I was

just wondering how the campus and programs are, that's all.

Sincerely,

Too bad they don't have someone active as the main professor now.

I'd really like to see more colleges like this here in America. Do

you know of any other universities that teach Vedic Science here in

America? (you don't have to mention MUM, in Fairfield, Iowa. I know

of that one already)

sincerely

There is Hindu Hniversity also down in Florida.

Also you may contact Gary Gomes about what's going on at the Univ Of

Massachusetts. They were trying to get a Vedic & Indian studies program off

the ground. I have one of his e-mails if you need it.

David Frawley does that correspondence course out of Sante Fe, and it's AVCA

approved. But it isn't at a University.

The one at the Maharishi's University in Fairlfield, Iowa has already been

mentioned..

I think I have seen a list of schols teaching vedic studies through some

site I found through Hinduism Today's website once. UT at Austin, TX has

South Asian studies, but it doesn't have an astrology course.

I was just looking at Das's certificate from the Bharat Vidiya Jyotish(sp?

name?) in New Dehli. It's on his web site.Very pretty how it's put onto

paper that looks like a (beetel?) leaf. Also it proclaims one who studies

astrology will never go to hell. Very interesting. It's K N Rao's school.
