Dear Sandeep,

Dasha's are more important than the transits. Use transits for about

30% results (not sure but I think BV Raman's book mentions this).

But MOST important all use Transits with the current

Dasa/Antar/Pratyantar. Cast Dasa Pravesh Chart which will take of

Transits and Dasa together.

Warm Regards

Dear Sandeep

Good and interesting question

Traditional texts give more emphasis to dasha

Transits give the timing for the results of dashas that have already been

determined is a fairly common understanding .

If one is not so expert in calculating the effects of dashas ( and I

certainly include myself here ) then transits give an idea of what might

happen .

Hoping to hear other views/ experiences

  • 2 weeks later...

Dear Mr David, Sorry for my very late reply. Unfortunately I am very busy these

days and really can not devote time to jyotish though I will it a lot. I have a

huge bulk of pending astro work that is inreasing.

Good to know that you liked my write up and thanks for the kind comments.

I am sorry that I forgot exactly where to mail to to the list but you

can get info by going to www.puja.net. You can also to my list where

you can get latest write ups and materials by me. Actually it is only my list

where I post all my write ups which I do not find to do on other lists.
