Guest guest
Dear Lawrie Myself and Henry were just working on a Prashna for England versus Turkey on Saturday in the Soccer. Although it was a tougher than usual prashna to call we both decided England was the winner. Henry got 11 to 5 with an Irish bookmaker as Turkey are favourites. As usual we reserve the right to be wrong. Time will tell. Andrew
Guest guest
Dear Andrew, Laurie and List, As this below was a tougher one than usual to call, can you show us how your thinking went and give an example of doing a prashna with this or is it too lengthy to write? Great for Henry to get these odds. Peace, Patrice ________ Dear Lawrie Myself and Henry were just working on a Prashna for England versus Turkey on Saturday in the Soccer. Guest guest
Dear Andrew, Too bad I don't know any bookmakers or I'd consider betting on England. Will look for it this Sat. on a cable channel. Hoping Henry wins! Guest guest
Dear Patrice. This prashna was hard as it showed no clear obvious winner. In soccer that can be considered a draw is shown. It did however slightly favour England for the first chart I cast. Henry thought his chart favoured England as well. However, England lost its two best scorers in the days leading up to the game. I actually cast a prashna again asking the question "Will England win now they have lost their two best players?" The prashna gave no clear answer but it certainly did not say Turkey would win. In fact not one of the charts cast actually favoured Turkey in any real way for a win. The game was a nil all draw so all bets are refunded. So in reality the prashna was probably correct but Henry of course had placed his bet so was trying hard as possible to find a win for Engalnd LOL. I would not have had a bet on even the first chart I cast as a couple of the ruling planets and significators indicated the same thing for both teams!! We discussed the draw factor because in soccer it is a 3 way thing- win, draw or lose are all equally possible so it is slightly harder than a sport where there is a clear winner everytime. My intuition was saying draw but Henry said to pick a winner or loser. One thing I have clearly noticed is, you should cast your prashna as close as possible to the start of the game for clearest answer. With betting this is not so good as the odds are lowest then. The whole idea of prashna is to try to get good odds on an outsider who is revealed as the winner. The prashna's I have used before a game starts has been very accurate. Overall I think the charts were probably correct looking back in hindsight. When you have placed a punt already like Henry had, you are going to favour your team who you have backed. I think this is what happened here a little. That is only human. It also brings up the concept of individual players karma having a say also. I mean if England's two stars had of played, would England have won??? These things must be observed over a long period before any concrete conclusions could be made. I will try to keep up some prashnas for the rugby where a game has no clear favourite. Guest guest
Dear Andrew and List, Thank you Andrew for sharing your thinking throughout this prashna and the reasons for what you were seeing as well as the experience you've gained. So nothing is lost in a draw as all bets are refunded... It seems really this is where you where at with this chart, but as you say the human side of leaning towards Henry's bet and also importantly he asked specifically to pick a winner. I think it's very interesting that England lost its two best scorers following this prashna and with the results that you really felt with this chart. That loss actually brought the chart more accuracy it seems verses including using other logic in thinking about who would win if these guys hadn't been injured. Saving this chart will be helpful in the future it seems, as you've said. Soccer is an interesting and more complicated sport to be casting for as there are then three possible conclusions, verses a winner and a loser one way or another in most other sports. Taking that into consideration it seems pretty clear to me that a draw was your take on it, but it would have been England had there been a win and definitely not Turkey. Nothing lost if a draw refunds all bets. Thanks Andrew, Patrice ________ Dear Patrice. This prashna was hard as it showed no clear obvious winner. In soccer that can be considered a draw is shown. Guest guest
Dear Patrice Prashna is very difficult at the best of times. When a win is not shown in soccer draw is an obvious choice . Last month I cast a prashna for Mundine Vs Echolls in the boxing. I picked Mundine. Henry thought Echolls. I cast a chart asking if Echolls would knock out Mundine. A clear no. The fight was postponed. After a month it was back on and I cast a chart and it said Mundine again. Mundine won but on points. I actually thought Echolls would win and thought my prashna must be wrong or I was missing something. Again it was right. LOL. Guest guest
Dear Andrew and List, So from what you've said again below, one of the talents in casting a prashna is to completely trust what you're seeing in the chart. Would you then say not to take too much into consideration then with other thinking about it and that type of logic, staying more open to just the clairty of the chart without the prejudice or leanings other thinking will include? This is very different from when doing a birth chart where it's important to consider all. What is the saying, kala... the times, the country, and is it situation?
