Dear List Members,

I have GJ version 2.26.

I am having a problem with GJ. When I select Panchang Calendar and any

date on or after 30 Dec 2004 I get a message saying "Loading Panchng

records into memory" and it just keeps loading and loading for hours to

together. I want to see the Panchang for some days in 2005 but I have

this problem. How do I resolve this problem? Have any of you also

experienced any such problem?

Thanks. With regards.

Hi

The panchang data stored in GJ in 2.26 and before versions, goes only up to

Dec of 2004, and you can only search through Nov 2004. If you try for Dec,

it will hang.

Obviously, I have to remedy this. And I am, going to, try, hard.

The sooner the better, I know.

I think, yes, it will happen. 3 will come out, and in time enough.

Til then, I'm sorry I haven't gotten it done for you sooner.

Thanks,

Dasji,

Further to my last email below, may I make a suggestion for your

forthcoming GJ version 3. Systems Approach to Vedic Astrology (SATVA)

is fast becoming very popular with vedic astrologers due to it's

simplicity and accuracy. The value of GJ will increase manifold if you

incorporate SA in version 3. You had incorporated KP in your earlier

versions but SA now seems to be overtaking KP.

My humble suggestion, for your own benefit.

With regards.

I have heard from a number of later version OSX users that they cannot print

on 2.26

This is of course terrible to me, of course.

I want to release a Mac Alpha version of the upcoming upgrade soon. I will

try to do that very soon.

What the remark by Babu mean "expensive....eh?" when talking about the

Panchang running out in Dec 2004?

I made this is about 95. I actually thought NOBODY would be using my

software AT ALL come 2005. I thought computer would be obsolete, replaced

by something way more advanced. The changes were so rapid before, but I

guess we still haven't had that massive shift. Anyway, I will remedy the

Panchang problem in version 3. That's for sure. I've got the goods, so

there's no questions, it's going to happen.
