Dear John and all,

 

a friend explained more about the "world of manes" to me - i thought it was

interesting

enough to share with the list. Seems like the prospects my of afterlife are

slightly looking

up:))))))

 

 

"In this cosmic manifestation the conditioned soul can reincarnate in 4

levels.

 

1. The world of devas (demigods).

2. The world of the Manes (pitris or ancestors).

3. Tiryaloka (literary lower especies of life) where humans are the leaders.

4. The asuric planets (planets of demons).

 

Although there are some rules in Jyotish books about where the soul is

coming from or where it is going to, it is just a general rule because

higher authorities called devas are in control of our karmic activities and

ultimately, the mercy of Krishna can change the rules.

they may go there but as slaves because other demigods are so envious that

they do not allow the soul to have a middle or exalted position b ut only a
