hi michael,

the impt data to produce a chart are the birth date, birth time, city and

country of birth. did you give these correctly in all the cases? eg did you

give similar birthdate and birth time for the charts. for the birth date

you may have given the month first for one chart and the date first for

the other ....

the chart tt is mostly used for vedic astrology is the rasi chart (

birth chart) altho there are other charts like navamsa,etc.........

if you have paid for the chart from the well known astrologer you can

write to him and ask him for an explantion.

if you give me your birth data i can generate a rasi chart and send to you

(foc) using the goravani programme i just bought.

Hi there, I'm rather new to Vedic astrology, and have

had a difficult time coming to terms with my

horoscope. The primary reason is that the three charts

I've received have contained a few slight differences,

and also a few glaring ones as well. For example the

first Vedic chart that was sent to me by a well known,

and respected astrologer, quite differs from the two I

generated on line. I did this just to see what would

happen.

The major differences are the placement of the asc.

and the fact that none of the houses themselves

correspond with the primary chart. For example in the

first chart the Sun and Mercury occupy the eighth

house, and in the online generated chart the eighth

house is totally unoccupied. So there is no

consistency within the framework of planets and

houses.

Are there different systems of chart generation I'm

unaware of? Is this a common query within the Vedic

model? I'd like to understand this a bit more. Perhaps

one you more experienced astrologers can explain why

these apparent contradictions can exist. MD

Dear Michael,

Different programs have different calculation methods that is the worrying

point.

Though your birth data is welcome here for us to generate a correct chart.

With best regards,

Prakash Kandpal
