Dear Ramesh,

I presume the details given is for a lady? Reading a lady's chart is

different from reading a man's chart for marriage.

Love,

Satyam Bruyat Priyam Bruyat

Dear Neha,

I am giving below my attempt at analyzing the chart. For my

understanding I normally write down all the points that need to be

considered. I am pasting the note in the same fashion.

I request Gurus to correct me in case of a mistake.

Kind Regards

Ramesh

Exaltation, debilitation and own house: in D1, Mercury is exalted in own

house and Venus is placed in own house but in MKS. None of the planets

are debilitated. Jupiter, Saturn, Mars are placed in inimical rashis.

In D9 Jupiter and Saturn are placed in their own houses. Mars is

vargottama.

Functional Benefic/ Malefic: Saturn, YK and Sun are benefic. Mercury is

Trine lord with marka qualities. Mars is a Marka with Kendra lordship.

Jupiter, Venus and Moon are functional malefic. Saturn is also badhkesh.

7H: not conjoined, aspected by retro Jupiter

7L: Mars is placed in dusthana 6H afflicted by Rahu and conjoined by

Venus. Placement in 6H indicates that the spouse will either be from low

status or there will be a cultural gap. Conjunction/ affliction by Rahu

can imply either getting married to a foreigner/ widower or can also

mean 2 marriages!

Ketu co-lord is also placed in dusthana 12H. this again shows the

cultural difference between the native and the spouse. One more

indication that the native may loose spouse and may marry more than

once! Ketu's placement here often indicates that the first marriage may

not last more than 3 years. In case of such a placement Ganesh puja is

recommended.

Venus: Kalatrakarka is also placed in dusthana 6H, which is also MKS and

afflicted by Rahu. Venus in MKS is not good for marriage. it can

indicate trouble due to opposite sex and may also pose dangers from

accidents. Affliction by Rahu would mean the same as described earlier.

Venus is also the lagna lord.

It is however placed in own house and hence strong. It is well placed in

D9, in lagna and in a friendly rashi.

UL: is placed in Badhakashana. This could explain the delay in marriage!

It is conjoined by Moon, aspected by Jupiter, Mars and Saturn. Saturn is

aspecting its own house. Moon is lord of 3H and hence the spouse could

be known to the younger sibling.

ULL: Saturn is aspected by Moon. Saturn as lord of UL indicates

unorthodox marriage. Normally in cases of delayed marriages and

afflicted 7H cases, fasting on the days represented by ULL is

recommended.

2nd from UL: is aspected by Rahu and has rashi drishti of Saturn and

Ketu.

DK: Mercury is exalted in D1, conjoined by Sun and aspected by YK

Saturn. In D9 however it is placed in 12H, conjoined by functionally

auspicious Saturn (lagna lord) and Rahu (co-lagna lord).

A7: its placement in 7th from AL shows easy contact with people of

opposite sex. House is conjoined by Sun, Mercury (lord) and aspected by

Jupiter (LL, 8L) and Saturn (9L, 10L). This shows at least 2

relationships. Saturn's aspect could result in separation of first!

Relationships may be person well placed (Sun-power/political) and with

person related with place of work (10L). A7 placement w.r.t lagna and AL

and with A2 indicates good finances.

D9: Venus in 1st and Moon in 7th show that the native will be

passionate. Venus in 1st, shows that she is talented. Venus in 1st could

make her an author, critic, poet or a speaker. She could also be a

government or political official. Moon in 7th shows that she will have a

fair spouse. It also gives good indications of fame and popularity for

herself.

Timing the marriage:

Narayana dasa suggests association with Venus and Ketu. Unfortunately

the current MD of Virgo doesn't aspect either. Nor is it connected with

UL. The next Narayana dasa is of Aries. Aries conjoins Ketu and the

first AD is of Libra, which has Venus. So this is a very likely period

for her to get married.

Narayana Dasa of D-1 chart (a versatile phalita rasi dasa):

Ar MD- Li PD: 2008-10-04 (02:03:36) - 2009-03-31 (19:51:36)

Vimsottari dasa is as follows. Marriage could take place in any of the

first four PDs. Jupiter aspects the 7H, Venus is katrakarka and aspects

7H in D9, Sun is 7L in D9, Moon is placed in 7H in D9 and Mars is 7L in

D1.

Vimsottari Dasa (started from Moon):

Jup MD - Ven AD: 2008-05-14 (14:55:51) - 2011-01-14 (18:16:36)

Transits of Jupiter and Saturn: the first favourable transit comes in

Sept 2005 when Jupiter enters Libra, which conjoins 7L and Venus in D1

7L in D9 and aspects Venus in D9. It will also have the desired aspect

over 2nd from UL. Unfortunately this phase does not match with dasas

that would be favorable to marriage.

The next favorable transit is when Jupiter enters Aquarius. This happens

in May 2009. Vimsottari dasa favorable for marriage would be Jupiter

-Venus - Jup - Rahu. Rahu conjoins 7L and Venus. 2010-01-11 (08:48:59)

- 2010-01-30 (05:37:34)

Probable Narayana dasa could thus be Ar - Sg - Aq: 2010-01-16 (12:06:55)

- 2010-01-31 (06:06:03)

Spouse from where: 7L from Lagna, 7L from Venus and UL are all placed in

movable sign. It shows that the spouse will come from abroad.

Children: The native seems to have a strong 5H with lord placed in own

house. Mercury is also 2L and conjoined with 4L Sun. A2 and A7 are

placed in the 5th house. She will have certainly have a lot of sukha

from her children, at least one of whom will do very well.

Malefics in 3rd and 6th: She has Saturn in 3rd and Mars plus Rahu in

6th. These show a great capacity to fight competition/ enemies. This

however is not the case from AL, which has Jupiter in 3rd. so her

fighting qualities may not be very visible!

Native's health: placement of Jupiter which is 8L and 11L is not good

for native's health. She could have some chronic ailments. House is also

aspected by Mars showing possibilities of surgery etc.
