Jupiter's Mahadasa and Misfortune !

Dear Friends,

 

Just entered into the exciting world of astrology. It is a general

consensus that if you have a Jupiters Mahadasa (Vimsottori) and if

your Jupiter is well positioned in your chart, good things are bound

to happen in your life.

 

For me, it seemed that the last 4 years of Jupiter's mahadasa has

brought me misfortunes - especially in my career, marriage, miscariage

of my wife and loss of money . I checked the transits. It seemed

fine(as far as my knowledge goes).

 

Right now I donot even have a job and is full of debts....about to

turn bankrupt.

 

I would appreciate if someone in the group can tell me what could

have gone astrologically?

Hello,

 

Although the JUPITER is in the 10 th house of your horoscope, its in

infant state and in the sign of LEO and therefore its weak.

 

The other planets such as the Mars, Venus, the Moon are weak, too. You

need to strengthen these weak planets.

Thanks Amar, Babu and others for your candid reply. I understand I am

going through Jupiter + Rahu. However, one thing I cannot understand

!! There was a certain phase during my Jupiter's Mahadasa, when I was

extremely lucky....however, I find that the last four years were bad

!!

 

Another question !! Will my birth chart effect my wife's fortune.....

I am NOT an expert but just a few words

Analysis

 

1.. March 1989 to March 2005 è Dasa = Jup

a.. Jup signifies Houses(11,9,2,5)

a.. H(11) is Bhadakesh è Health related issues

a.. Jup is in Infancy (2 deg 33min) è Not able to give as good results as

it should

b.. Jup in Star(Ketu) Sub(Ven)

Sub Lord Ven signifies (5,7,11,12) è Child, Marriage, Health, Expenditure

 

First 1 year and 4 months of Jup Dasa would have been good, i.e, from March

1989 to June 1999

 

1.. July 2000 to Nov 2001 è Bhukti = Mon

a.. Mon signifies H(6,7,1,6,9)

b.. Mon signifies Difficulties with Relationships, Health, State of Mind,

Relationship with Mother, Your own health, Wife, etc è All suffer

c.. But why? è Mon in Satr(Mars) sub(Merc)

Star Lord Mars is in Infancy (1 deg 40 sec) and also Mars is Combust and

signifies H(6,10) è Problems with Career and Matrimony

 

Deciding Factor Merc is also Combust and signifies (5,6,7,8,11,12) è

Children, Health, Memory, Matrimony, Career, Expenditure, etc)

 

a.. In a nutshell all problems started in Mon Bhukti. Please confirm

This way I think Jup Dasa is not so good for you over all

Acually for me, the worst part of Jupiter was 1999 March to 2004. And

from 1989 to 1992. What could be the reason?

Hello Dear Babu and Partha,

 

 

The Native is passing currently Jup/Ra/Ve dasa. Jupiter is aspected by the

malefic Mars in the natal chart, therefore, it is weak. For the Scorpio

Ascendant, Venus, Mars, Rahu and Ketu becomes funtional malefics and the

Native does not have to strengthen the malefics Venus and Mars as suggested

below by Babu.

 

The Native needs to propitiate all the malefics and strengthen the weak

benefic planets such as MOON 9L in 8h of obstruction ( bad placement weak in

strength, infancy stage), JUP afflicted by malefic Mars, SUN & MER in 6h of

debt and disease, SAT in exact conjuction with R/K axis, all these

afflictions render benefic planets weak and need to be strengthened.

Thanks for your feedback. I really appreciate it. I know I am going

through a bad phase for the last 4 years. However, things were really

not bad during the first 10 years of Jupiters Mahadasa. In fact, it

was a rags to riches story for me. How can we interpret those all

around successes inspite of me having a weak Jupiter?

1. Did you start experiencing problems on or after July, 2000 till date ?

 

2. Did you also experience set backs, if any, during Jan., 1997 to May,

2000 ? If yes, what kind of set backs ?

Thanks for your message Mr. Puri....... I really appreciate your predictions.

Yesterday night, I had a dream where HARI came and said that He will

alleviate all my present misfortune. Therefore, I donot have to

appease any malefic planets.

I am confident I will be able to withstand all problems in my life with the

grace of Lord Krishna. His blessings are always with me.....He has helped me

withstand all previous misfortunes . Even during my previous Rahu's

mahadasa HARI showered me with all his blessings....

I see a Kalasarpa Yoga in your horoscope.

 

K S Y manifests when all planets are hemmed in between Rahu & Ketu.

Yogoyam Kalasarpakhyam

Dear Partha,

 

I accept that there is KSY in your chart. According to me, such a

chart causes many ups and downs in life.

 

The last period has no wonder been very difficult for you. However, I

feel that the coming period since 8/22/2004 shall bring a favourable

period for you. Financially also it shall give you enough to recover

from losses.

Dear B,

 

Jupiter is the lord of the 3rd & 12th lord. He is a functional malefic. He

is posited in the adverse 6th. You have to resort to Remedial Astrology for

Jupiter.

 

Astro-Therapy

 

 

Fasting on Thursdays ( Vara Puja _)

Worshipping the Tutelary Deity (Kula Devata) on Thursdays

Wearing Yellow Sapphire Topaz on a Shukla Paksha Thursday

Propitiating Lord Vishnu on Thursdays

Wearing a Brihaspathi Yantra

Reciting the Mantra of Jupiter on Thursdays

Performing a Brihaspathi Homa

Reading the Holy Book ( Geetha ) on Thursdays

 

are some of the remedial measures recommended

 

Brihaspathi Yantra is said to be ideal in warding off the malevolent rays

of

radical Jupiter.

 

Vara Puja is said to be the most effective remedy in Vedic Astrology. On day

of the problem causing planet that planet is to be propitiated. As Jupiter

is the problem causer, Thursday is the day where the Deity of Jupiter ( Lord
