Hello Everyone,

 

 

To know exactly what is 'Retrograde' motion of planets

and why the planet is said to be moving backwards (it seems to move

backwards)

The planet moves backward relative to your point of observation as

you're moving faster compared to that planet.

I also kept wondering how is a planet moving backward and then starts

moving forward. I too am very novice.

The graphics on the above webpage cleared my doubts.
