Guest guest
Hi Bonnie, Thanks so much for donating the data. I presume it's you? If not, please forgive. The Vedic calendar recognizes a day beginning with sunrise, not 12 midnight; so, you would have been born on Sunday, since you were born late on that night (and Monday if you were going by the Western calendar). Therefore, being born on a Sunday (malefic), with the Moon in Aquarius (malefic sign, owned by Saturn) and Dhanistha (owned by Mars) all gives the necessary combinations for VK. Furthermore, on the day you were born, the Moon had about 15% lunar light left and was waning. The Moon was also at the edge of a sign, since it was only at about 1 degree into Aqr. In the Navamsa, it conjuncts Ketu and is aspected by Saturn. In the Varga Bala, the Moon is very weak. So Visha Kanya would have to be quite strong in your case. In the Moon is placed in the 4th house of the mental and emotional state of the mind overall, and that the 4th and 9th houses are the parental houses, I would think that VK in your case would have its roots in the early homelife. Perhaps you could fill me in on any of this? Or perhaps I am dead wrong? In all fairness, Jupiter forms a Gaja Kesari Yoga here, and while it is diminished somewhat by the Moon's weakness, Jupiter is quite strong in the Varga charts and therefore can offset some of the Moon's debility. I take this to mean that there could be the chance for some of the darker dimensions of the Moon's symbolism to be lightened up a bit. In any event, the years 23-24-25 would had to have been important; perhaps this was the year in which a major event concerning your parents (at least one of them anyway) could have happened? In any event, seeing as how the 5th house difficulties compounds the already difficult Visha Kanya situation (debilitated Mercury in the 5th, Saturn and Rahu in the 5th from the Moon, Ketu in the 5th from Jupiter) I would guess that either conceiving and/or birthing children would have been a serious issue. Perhaps they were stillborn, or miscarriages/abortions was the issue? Or perhaps the child(ren) could have been challenged with birth defects and the like. Anyway, I'll stop here. Waiting for your detailed response. Thanks so much again.
