Stumps Don¹t Lie - Republican Party Funding

In my own area, Eugene Oregon, the republican party raised nearly half a

million for the Bush Campaign.

 

Most of that money came from a few families.

 

Those families own the logging companies.

 

Why do they pay huge checks to support Bush?

 

Because Bush supports allowing them to cut down the forests around here.

 

Most of us ³people² do not support this. We support a managed approach.

 

Those families don¹t make as much money with Kerry in office.

 

THAT¹S IT.

 

It comes down to a few, making MONEY, against the people, and against the

forest.

 

So who¹s it gonna be?

 

The people and the forest?

 

Or, a few rich families getting richer?

 

That¹s the choice here in Oregon.

 

And that¹s about what it¹s like all over. The few rich, verse the world.

 

Even Bush himself said, at a dinner with VERY RICH PEOPLE:

 

³You¹re an interesting crowd- the have¹s, and the have mores. (laughter).

Some call you the elite. I call you my base²

 

He wasn¹t lieing that time.
