Guest guest
Reminds me of the stories in the Shiva Puran, where suffering entities plead with Shiva to destroy the currently offending Asura King & save the world from his attrocities & certain destruction. However, Shiva reminds them of the Universal laws, where nothing can be done until the offending king has used up the sweet fruits of past karma & topped up his limits of negative karma. Moreover, often its Indra`s neglect of his official duties & overindulgences in heavenly privelages, which make way for his dethronement & the empowerment of his opposing princepal ie: the offending Asura King. In the end, when this villainous Asura king finally meets his maker, he recieves liberation & residential rights to Shivlok. But for the mushrooms & forest fires, where would be the possibility of new growth ? ( Im hoping that the escalating oil prices from all these wars, will push someone enough to rediscover an alternative energy source, which uses fusion rather than fision princepals ) Judgement without wisdom is probably among the most lethal dangers to existance but on the other hand its the source of all tensions of duality, without which there would be no Lila. It was merely an invitation to those who claim certainty that "the Bush regime is indeed corrupt and brutal" to consider that the brutality may be a requirement of the times and of the maturing of karmas and Bush is merely obeying his dharma. The way a dentist hurts a petient whose rot in the tooth has advanced to the point of requiring a painful and brutal drilling, scraping, injecting or even extracting procedure…What's the point in hating the dentist? Your dharma may very well be to oppose Bush, in which case you and him both, may be doing "God's work." But, what I'm suggesting, is to consider the possibility that we may have allowed ourselves to be propagandized into a trance where we believe that we can actually calculate what is right and wrong with precision and certainty. In other words, I agree with your statement that not everyone's dharma is to take part in our president's games, or that some dharmas are destined to stand in opposition…but you stretch beyond what is reasonable when you make a sweeping claim that the "Bush regime is corrupt and brutal." Says who? Where is the proof? Can there even be proof? That is merely an opinion of yours. For the same money, I couldn't say that the Bush regime is NOT corrupt and brutal. The simpe fact is, we don't really know. That's what I suggest we try to remember. In the discussions of dharma and the nation one would get the impression that everyones dharma in America is to take part in our president's games. For some it might be to stand in opposition to a corrupt and brutal regime. >> ____________ Virus checked by G DATA AntiVirusKit Version: AVK 14.0.1474 from 21.07.2004 Virus news: www.antiviruslab.com
