It seems like one sort of "goal" of Yogas or spiritual sciences like Jyotish is to intergrate the masculine and the feminine. Moving beyond them becomes a natural result. Supposedly, many Shaman were masculine and feminine, both and neither. Spiritual people seem often to be above and below the masses in many various ways.
