Rahu / Ketu and the Psychology of Karma

When: 6 Thursdays starting 1/13/2005 from 5-7PM

You will learn:

 

1. Rahu and Ketu - The Nodes of Rahu and Ketu are the

eclipse

points, where Sun and Moon are overtaken and

obliterated

temporarily. The axis of Rahu and Ketu show the main

forces of

desire through which Spirit has taken form through us.

As such they

show the obsessions that compel us forward (Rahu) and

the fears that

keep us stuck in past routines. (Ketu) Based on house

and sign

position as well as their affectation of Planets,

their

psychological power are often times the most

compelling forces in

the chart. Once we get a grasp of what the nodes are

doing, the

psychological profile of the native becomes clear.

 

2. House, Sign and Planet - We will examine each node

as it works

through each Sign, House and Planet. The Nodes clearly

illustrate

the choices we face along the axis of life in which

they fall.

 

EX: Houses 3 and 9 are our Self will and God's will,

when the Nodes

affect that axis, major psychological lessons will be

learned

revolving around those issues and houses. The results

of which are

seen by the Lords of the Nodes and other factors which

we will

examine in detail.

 

3. Rectification - The most effective way to rectify a

chart is by

using the Nodes. You will learn this.

 

4. Effects as a Dasa Lord / Transiting Planet - Learn

what happens

in Rahu / Ketu periods and by transit. I will use

everyday, typical

charts from my Astrology practice to show the effects

of the nodes.

I will not cherry pick a few charts that show some

hard to grasp,

obscure technique. The effect of the Nodes are obvious

and

Powerful.

 

5. Bring your own chart to analyze - gain insight into

your own

crazy Self!

could you give a bit of a bio of the teacher? Who studied with, style of

Jyotish, how long in practice, specialty, certifications? experience with the

nodes? How long teaching?
