Rahu in Pisces/Ketu and Jupiter in Virgo and Fanaticism

The last time we had this combination [please correct me if I am

wrong] was between October 1968 and ~June 1969 during the Vietnam

Era and the Tet Offensive, which was the turning point of the war.

This was also the time of antiwar and campus riots (e.g., Kent

State) and civil rights protests, during which time both Martin

Luther King and Robert Kennedy were assasinated. Apollo II

(supposedly) landed on the Moon, and computers were coming more and

more into commercial use. In the USA, this was the era of the hippy,

sandwiched between the Summer of Love (1967) and Woodstock (Aug.

1969). This was also the time of the FIRST Miss America protest in

Atlantic City, when feminists began burning their bras and

lengthening their skirt hems.

 

On a mundane level, in the summer of 2005 when Mars joins Rahu in

the fourth house of the USA chart, opposing Jupiter and Ketu in the

10th, we may see a real terrorist event on the home front. On a more

global scale, Rahu as a force of revolution and transformation in

the mystical and visionary sign of Pisces opposite Jupiter and Ketu

in Virgo may portend some brilliant new technological advances as

well as some "spiritual awakening" such as occurred in the late

60's. The nodal axis shifting to Pisces and Virgo may bring a whole

new level of planetary healing and purification.

You have excatly replicated my thoughts. We should also

take into consideration the transit of saturn in cancer. Whenever it has

been in cancer it has caused miseries and hardships to common people. In

1975, in India the government declared a state of emergency which lasted for

two years. During same period, Khmer Rouge regime in cambodia began one of

the century's greatest massacres. Earlier in 1945-47, the world saw atomic

explosions in Nagasaki and Hiroshima. India was partitioned, which desplaced

millions and saw uncontrolled genocide.

 

It has already brought about devastation by Tsunami in dec04. Lets

see what it does when jupiter and ketu are in virgo

The last time rahu, ketu, jupiter and mars formed a combination the twin

towers were demolished.
