I think it becomes more risky to wear the gemstone then.

I personally believe that a planet when purely benefic (9th lord etc.) and ill

placed in 6/8/12, then it is weak and it can be helped with the gemstones.

However, this is just the general statement / essence but a lot of things to

consider. Most of the cases, I would say that even a 9th lord's stone is risky

if the planet is very seriously afflicted. Bec it might amplify the negative

effects as well. But it needs help also. So still benefit is more than the harms

it might do, so someone can go for it. But in general, a 9th lord in 6/8/12 will

be helped by the stone (Unless it is seriously afflicted and/or rules an evil

house same time.)

houses there is no harm wearing the gems.

But why wear gems, instead feed the needy and animals, it it instant karma.

Dear Babu,

Viprit rajyoga means the person will be able to survive

even under adverse conditions and will be able to re-establish oneself. But,

ironically, it is the effect of lords of malefic houses itself which brings

adversities on him. Rajyoga means the person will have financial and social

gains but it does not guarrantee good health. Viprit Rajyoga always creates

health problems, caues accidents and drastic ups and downs in life.

Therefore, wearing gems for planets responsible for VR is not recommended.

Viprit Rajyoga theory was first propounded by Kavi Kalidas. It is a

lesser known fact that he was an astrologer too besides being a great poet

and a playright.

There are so many yogas and there is no easy arm-chair method to

understand astrology.

I read about the VPR in BV RAMAN's 300 INPORTANT COMBINATIONS.

But then, I believe experience is more important than text book knowledge.

Dear Babu, Christian and List,

This is an interesting chart and discussion - thanks for offering this chart

Christian and for sharing your thoughts on this Babu.

One thing to note on this chart is that Ketu is in severe gandanta in

Jyeshtha and in nakshatra parivartana with Mercury who is starlord of

Jyeshtha. Mercury himself in Moola, which can be a difficult nakshatra (and

Venus in Moola as well), and as you've said in 12H. Then further as you've

mentioned this tight conjunction with Venus and Mercury. This Ketu also

receives 10H aspect from Saturn. Also Ketu is in Badhaka 11H. This along

with what you've mentioned Babu with 8th lord Sun and aspecting Moon in

sandhi degree (even though this Moon is 98% full and waxing). In Navamsa Sun

is also closely conjoined 8th and 1st lord Mars, and Sun and Mars both in

Sun's star in Rasi chart.

With both planets for mind, Moon and Mercury, in these conditions and this

association with a gandanta Ketu, this could give the results you've

mentioned, these experiences for your friend Christian.

Depression and despair or despondency is also signified by Saturn, and here

we have this strong 10H aspect of Saturn onto this Ketu in nakshatra

parivartana with Mercury.. and as you said she is in Sade Sati with Saturn

12H from this weak Moon. Also Moon is isolated in this chart with only

aspect from Sun, 8H lord. (Saturn also aspecting 3H aspect onto her 4H as

well as Mars 8H aspect onto 4H.)

everything in her live is now collapsing, no job, strange diseases,

serious mental problems. This fits your "could be disasterous", well

there is now a Ketu dasa.

This seems to me one of the cases, where a mercury dasa gives no luck in

the end (and mercury is moving towards the sign of its debiliation).

Venus as raja yoga karaka seems to be of no help right now, well, venus

is in 12 too, and together with mercury. Maybe venus dasa is going to be

better nevertheless. What do you think?

I forgot to say, that she is also in Sade Sati with SATURN gong through

Cancer next year, that adds to the difficulties.

Dear Patrice,

I would like to offer some more thoughts to your contribution.

There are several things which worry me. I just list some observations:

She has a father who is bi-polar, and it might be possible that she

inherited this mental disorder from him. She herself is diagnosed with

high probability of having a "borderline syndrome" ( I hope you know

what this is.)

She studies medicine in her mercury dasa with a lot of foreign travel

and stays abroad in this period.

She survived at least five incidents during that time where you normally

think somebody would not survive it (e.g. a snake bit in Indonesia,

reanimation with electric cardiac shock).

She has now a child (male, Urs, 22 August 2003, Hamburg Germany, time

02:40 am). She chased the husband out of her flat and now complaines

about missing support in child raising.

In her last jobs in hospitals she always had problems with superiors

(selfrighteness behaviour). She is now without a job.

She tried to make an MD (medical doctor) but failed by not completing

the thesis properly (about 1999).

She is very intuitive in diagnosing correctly the diseases of her

patients.

I also looked into the chart of the child (where you have Moon-Ketu,

and Moon opposition Pluto and more things pointing to a difficult

mother). The child is born in a mars dasa, indicating "fights" between

the parents, which indeed happen. And now staionary Saturn is on his

Ascendent.

There is a Mars-Ketu Dasa for Urs in 2006 parallel to her own Ketu/Sun

and Ketu/Moon period.

She has a "melancholic tendency", to say at least, but compensates the

depressions with aggressions.

Since about a year she has "strange" health problems. By "strange" I

mean e.g a severe skin problem which was never diagnosed properly.

It is hopeless to tell her anything what to do (remedies, going to a

doctor, taking drugs), because "the others" are always wrong.

You can imagine that I am really worrying about her, mostly because

there seems nothing I or anybody else can do.

Can you make somthing out of that, do you need detail dates?
