Hi All...

>From Astrodatabank, we have a Vatican II birth chart that might be

used to question the current state of affairs re: the next Pope...

Birth 10/13/1962 (October 13, 1962)

Birth Time: 09:00 (9:00 AM) MET (-1:00)

Birth Place: Vatican City, Italy

Latitude / Longitude: 41 N 54 / 12 E 27

Rodden Rating / Source: B / From Biography

Source Notes: Leda Gregory quotes Alden Hatch, "A Man Named John;

the Life of Pope John XXIII" p.217, for the time of the Vatican

II "It's all in the book as well as posted at websites about

Vatican II. This is when the Catholic gave up the Latin mass etc. It

was a very big deal and might be the basis of a chart of the

Catholic church."

Interestingly, one of the karakas for the Pope in this chart--

Jupiter--is now transiting in the 12h. Note also that the 9h, the

bhava we might use for the Pope, has Saturn (another karaka for the

Pope) in transit, and the 9th karyesha (another indicator for Pope)

is Mercury, currently debilitated, retrograde and transiting 6h and

in rasi aspects with Saturn and Jupiter.

The current 12h transit of Jupiter in this chart may indicate that a

non-Italian will be elected, also indicated by the conjunction of

Mercury, 9L, with Rahu in the 6th. The election will most likely be

decided by May 5 when tx Mercury, 9L, along with the transiting

Moon, will pass over the April 8 eclipse point in late Pisces.

This is a long shot, but if I am looking at Jupiter as indicator of

the Pope, and considering Jupiter's current retrograde transit in

Hasta, perhaps the newly elected Pope will be the dark horse

Christoph Schoenborn, 60, of Vienna, as the Nama Nakshatra of Hasta

13/20-16/40 is "SHAH" and they kind of sound alike...or Mercury's

transit of Revati in late April/early May could indicate the other

dark horse Godfried Danneels, 71, archbishop of Mechlin-Brussels,

Belgium (Nama Nakshatra for Revati = "DAY" and "DOH").

Using Nama Nakshatras, I often find synchronicities...consider this

one: Saturn could be the graha that we use as the highest authority

figure of the Vatican II chart, and Saturn is situated in the 4H,

and in Shravana, whose Nama Nakshatras are "Joo/Jay/Joh" as in Pope

JOHN Paul I and II?

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,

Juliana

Hi All,

Based on the Vatican II chart (see Astrodatabank), I am predicting a

possible win for one of the two dark horse candidates, either

Christoph Schönborn of Austria, or Godfried Danneels of Belgium. My

third choice would be Angelo Scola of Italy.

If I am right, I will tell you how I did it if you care. If I am

wrong, it will be back to the drawing board for me once again!

Best,

Juliana Swanson

Dear Juliana,

In my opinion that chart has no validity as basis for the outcome of

the next conclave, election of the pope. It is just the date of a big

conference and not the founding of the company itself (Vatikan). Latin

Mass was not given up by the way, only the church agreed that the use

of the vernacular was possible. In my opinion the day of the treaty

between the pope and Mussolini (I don't have it) is more of value

because there the Vatikan got assigned its physical quarters. Of course

the real date would be that of the last supper when the first pope was

installed, but we don't know it.

I am very interested to see the outcome of your calculation just the

same.

Kind regards

Christiane

Thanks Christiane,

I totally see your point that the chart for Vatican II is not valid

for this question of the new Pope.

This topic provides some interesting food for thought, nonetheless.

Well I have been looking at the conclave chart (thanks for the

time). (timezone including dls -2)

This gives Asc 14 libra. Mc 23 Cancer. Saturn in the 9th

aspecting Rahu which is extremely close to the Sun suggests a foreign

influence.

One thing worth noting. Sun, Nodes, Moon, Venus, Saturn and Uranus

are Vargottama. Moon and Mars Exalted.

>From the group of those most often mentioned as Papabile heres a few

preliminary observations:

Conclave Asc 14 Libra.

Cardinal Arinze Sun 15 Libra.

Conclave Mc 23 Cancer.

Cardinal Hummes Sun 22 Cancer.

Transit Moon gets to 23 Cancer April 18th.

The link with the Conclave chart of both those 'papabili' would make

them prime candidates.

The comments made by others concerning the use of first syllables I

have found useful in past work. Especially as theres rather a lot of

candidates.

Dear Chris

My previous post was looking at your chart info as given for the

conclave.

Since then I spotted this news item which has puzzled me regarding

the accuracy of your chart information for april 12th.

It appears that the convocation has not convened yet.

They are still trying to work out the "bugs" in the room. Today, they found out

that the cardinal's conversations can be heard thru fiber-optic technology. How

do you seal that off with wax?

laughs, who knows what they will do. Since the last convocation

technology has moved along a fair bit.

I was originally thinking the convocation date would be 18th april

because it was so many days from the popes death.

Dawn et al...

I have read that the conclave to elect the next pope will begin in a

mass scheduled for Monday morning, 4/18/2005 at 10 AM which gives an

Ardra Lagna using Lahiri ~8 degrees Gemini.

Thanks,

Juliana
