Guest guest
Hello Ashutosh and all Thanks for sharing your sapphire story. It was especially interesting for me to read as for me sapphire is a no-no... My ex-husband offered me a very expensive one (more than 4 carats) and every time I wore it the worst things used to happen to me. I was not so attuned then to the Vedic gem philosophy etc.... it's the strength of the negativity that made me think that it may be the sapphire. I stopped wearing it for many years. Then I learned that it s the stone for Saturn. Well in my chart Saturn is exactly rising in Libra. So here started a mystery that I could never really solve: why would that stone be so bad to me who have an exalted Saturn? It's opposed Jupiter and in aspect to Mars (Vedic) . I am a western astrologer and a student of Vedic , so far from being an expert in Jyotish. For the sake of experiment I decided one day to wear again the sapphire.... not to avail.... everything went so terribly wrong that day. Now I never dare to wear the stone any more. I have a watch that has a little sapphire on the dial button..... it's the same story though not so accute: things are jinxed the days I wear that specific watch. It's really frustrating I am ultra senstive around stones , it's really so difficult for me to find what is good for me. So far a ruby ring that I wear on the little finger and a coral ring are my best bet. Emerald and diamond are kind of neutral. Nadia <<<<<<<<<<The next day I dropped that sapphire in a canal with running water near my home. It is believed that the gemstones have their own personalities. I have tested many stones on myself, but that particular blue sapphire really proved its negativity. Ashutosh.>>>>>>>
Guest guest
My dear King Pariksit, I have now described the wonderful power of Krishna, as displayed when the Lord delivered the King of the elephants. O best of the Kuru dynasty, those who hear this narration become fit to be promoted to the higher planetary systems. Simply because of hearing this narration, they gain a reputation as devotees, they are unaffected by the contamination of Kali-yuga, and they never see bad dreams.---------- Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 8, Chapter 4 (Gajendra returns to the spiritual world), Text 14. Therefore, after getting up from bed in the morning, those who desire their own welfare-especially the brahmanas, ksatriyas, vaisyas and in particular the brahmana Vaisnavas-should chant this narration as it is, without deviation, to counteract the troubles of bad dreams.------ SB 8.4.15 Warm Regards, YB Prasad.
