First of all let me clarify one thing, that study can not be false,it is certainly "ancient science".Astrology can not be confined to only mere science of prediction of future and past.Its covering is far far wider then mere prediction of future and past.You will be astonished to know,if carefully observed with proper infrastructure, then you will find that each and every happenings of the world is planetarily remote-controled. Further, you will find the link of astrology to each advanced studies those are being taught in the apex academic insttn . of the world and lately, they are now adopted this ancient science through various shape, like value management in IIM and CAM in WHO,Yoga in Medical Sc ience etc. Yes, to some extent, you may be right,few the student of this holy study have greatly misused its gist for their self-end and I hope, your openion has been formed after meeting few among these few people. Further, how can you expect 100% accuracy without any support of infrastructure. We have been proving our accuracy very well in astronomical sphere ie. solar eclipse and wheather forecast. You will be suprised to hear that despite spending crores of Rs in Wheather forecasting the Govt. is still unable to get correct datas from wheather scientist,with a scanty private investment accepting such high accuracy does not seem to be bit partial in our judgement? Guest guest Posted June 11, 2005 Report Share Posted June 11, 2005 Well we could ask ourselves any number of questions regarding deepak sharma's post hes neglected to put any birth details up or what his questions are..... one thing that can cause error's is giving an astrologer an incorrect birth time.. of course at that point its always useful to rely on prasna as at least with that you know the time for sure. and from what I see every astrologer does a different rectification on a birth time and they vary a lot I think if deepak is giving wrong birth data to astrologers either by intent or unintentionally then of course if you feed in nonsense your are going to get out nonsense. there are a lot of different astrologers out there. some have studied it for love of astrology and/or love of knowledge and to honestly try and excel at it and find out the truth of astrology. but sometimes its disappointing to see that some start out with the idea of getting a name and making money and they have this idea before the know one word of astrology. they may not be any good at it. but they intend that. I am personally doubtful if thats the initial intent. some poeple like that may make big claims that are not well founded, and it does not help those who are sincere. nevertheless astrology has taken quite a beating from those who just want to reject anything that does not adhere to their personal ideas of 'reality' for those who are wondering how astrology works Carl Jung did a nice little book called 'synchronicity' and his other books are also worth reading to look at archetypes and other concepts. he very much explored ideas of how unknown ideas actually exist in our consciousnesses as an actuality and demonstrated this in his writing he explored the i ching and astrology and touched upon this. we percieve ourselves as individuals and as our thought processes are in our own heads we think therefore theres some sort of barrier existing and separating us from the rest of creation and that we exist independently and are not in any way affected by or related except by our own choice. but the unconscious shows that even in our minds the images that come up are universal ones and that they give a hint of our interconnectedness astrology is a little bit of that in that it shows that the workings our of solar system and the backdrop of stars tells much about the life we lead and what we are subject to..... a way of fixing what we are to do in any particular life. by pinpointing our birth time and looking at what knowledge we have about astrology we can work something out many of the stories about astrology, such as one story which I cannot remember all the details of but I am sure others can, shows how some ancient personage got some books from a particualar group of people but thought them valueless so chucked them away but found the predictions correct and managed to retrieve one of the books only which is our present day knowledge of astrology--- after he found his predictions were spot on he had tried to get the books back. this may relate to why predictions are not perfect 100%. but this does not mean astrology is not correct or that all astrologers are not sincere. In terms of his questions.. heres the prasna positions I drew up. Asc 00.30 gemini sun 27tau05 moon 22can21 mars 5pisc55 mercury 7gemini17 venus 16gemini17 jupiter 15vir03 saturn 1 can48 rahu 25pis49 ketu 25 vir49 uranus 16aqu49 nep23cap32 pluto 29scor18 its worth noting that Moon is almost exactly opposite Neptune. a good indication of deception and game playing. its tricky to predict under that. another indication of deception might be the Mars (pisces) aspect to Mercury in the Ascendant particularly as it involves the 1st and 6th lords. things that are worth noting: Moon is in Mercury/Sun Star. Mercury is in the ascendant and Sun ruling 3rd is in 12th. Moon conjoined 9th lord saturn in the second. (teaching, law, or some status) Lagna lord Mercury is in 1st house in Rahu's nakshatra and sub. Rahu is in the 10th house. I think he might be asking based on that about his line of work about himself. Due to the heavy involvement of 6th and 10th house factors. Jupiter the 10th lord itself in conjunct ketu in 4th aspecting 10th. Moon is conjunct 9th lord Saturn in 2nd. Mercury lagna lord forms a rajayoga in asc with 5th/12th lord venus. 5th is advisors.. 12th is hospitals or incarceration. Mars in 10th.. rules 6th. Sixth house is criminals, cookery, military or sickness. Mars in 10th may be an entrepreneur, or a surgeon or a police officer. He might be a criminal lawyer. (6th is criminals and aspects 1st lord mercury from the 10th) but he could equally be surgeon as Moons sublord is Sun which has status and rules medicine. Venus and mercury in ascendant will give a pleasant way of talking and appearance but the mars aspect is rather sharp and fighting in manner. a whiplashing effect in the speech. if hes a doctor and lectures others he will be quite harsh to his students... if hes a lawyer he may be involved in criminal matters now deepak may not be these professions. ---- these are jsut some guesses based on these planet positions ... Moon in second is also an indicator of money, money concerns and family. its worth mentioning that while saturns moolitrikona is 9th house (teaching religion law) it also rules 8th (debts and troubles) And mars also rules debts. but not as severe as 8th lord. So we have a prasna with some rajayogas but the lords of 6,8,12 are also with the moon but being gemini they are dual owners of good and bad houses. In fact, for doctors the negative side is the sickness. for them it means great profit that they live fixing the problems of others, the same for lawyers, who might be dealign with debts or crimes of others. Today you may not find very many good astrologers as they are themselves not pure. Agreed. To see past present and future one must be himself pure. To the degree one is pure to that extant one can see everything in the right perspective. However astrology itself is coming from God so we accept it. And we go to the best among the available lot of astrologers, that we have access to. Just like when there is an accident on the highway, you may not have the best doctor around but whoever is around the victim, even if not a doctor we allow him to do some first aid. It will be really foolish to say "All astrologers are false". They may not be perfect in predictions but some of them are really sincere in helping the individuals. Their *perfection* is in their sincerety to help others. Don't you agree? Just like the person who helps an accident victim on the highway may not be a perfect doctor but he is sincere in helping the individual, so he is a "perfect replacement" for a perfect doctor at that instant of time. I have also felt the same when I had visited a number of astrologers initially (while I was learning astrology). Destiny as we call it - is fructification of our own karma; it is only a strong willed person who can fight back and become a winner - I have created this theory and I believe it completely. When something is destined to happen in one's life...then no force can stop such happenings. In such times, even the best tend to give worst results. I would rather say that those whom you say are some of the best actually do the guess work - I also keep in touch with some of the astrologers in Delhi who tell me so based on their experience with such characters. They seek my views on lot many charts and depict as their predictions. I am aware of this whole thing. For me, it is an analysis of planets and understanding the planets with respect to 12 houses of the zodiac that comes out with millions of horoscopes. Because of my scientific analysis and strong basics coupled with intuition I am able to make a number of predictions. I failed in some though; the reasons may be numerous yet I am trying to learn from my mistakes. I REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY SEND ACROSS YOUR BIRTH DETAILS OR THE QUERIES THAT YOU MAY HAVE, SO THAT I CAN TRY AND SEE IF I CAN PREDICT SOMETHING CONCURRENTLY. REGARDING THE OTHER PART OF RS. 25,000/- THAT YOU HAVE MENTIONED - WHY NOT WITH YOUR KIND HELP WE START AN ANNUAL COMPETITION/REWARD FOR THE SAKE OF DIVINE ASTROLOGY AND FASCILITATE THE ONE WHO IS ABLE TO MAKE CORRECT PREDICTIONS ON AN ONGOING BASIS.
