I read about yogis holding the same ppsture for 12 years at a time

(standing for 12 years, or holding up both arms). Why 12 years? Does

this 12 year cycle relate to the 12 signs? The Chinese relate the 12

animal years to their 12 signs. Does anyone know how the two line

up? Help please. Thank you.

By contemplating on oneself, by eating sparingly, and by practicing Siddhâsana

for 12 years, the Yogi obtains success.

mr.mike

i am not clear on this - still i wish to correlate this with 12 julinian years -

jupiter completes one round in the zodiac - since it is a practice to seek

divine help i wish to correlate this to Jupiter transit.

let us examine further.
