Guest guest
Namaste,Prakash Jataka Parijata has slokas relating to a person's afterlife. In general, the book states that if the lord of the 22nd drekkana is strong, being swakshetra or uccha, the person will attain moksha. Otherwise, the person more likely has gone to a lesser abode in the afterlife. Phala Deepika has another opinion on this matter. It discusses the 12th house as the field for determining the status of a person's afterlife. If a person has a strong planet in the 12th house, being swakshetra or uccha, the person will attain moksha as well. If not, the person will more likely return back to earth as another living entity.
