believe Steve pointed out something along this line, the nodes in kendras can

signify trouble or danger. This in itself doesn't mean

so much, I know, but in the chart for 8/8/2005, Rahu is in chart lord Mercury's

Nakshatra. I checked the Sahams/Arabic Parts and see that the Part of Peril

(Asc. + 8th cusp-Saturn) is EXACTLY conjunct the Lagna, and the Part of

Catastrophe is almost exactly opposite Mercury at ~19 degrees Capricorn.I

imagine many of you have heard of the Dark Moon used in Western astrology. It

is an astronomical point that can represent danger, destruction, or the shadow

side of things. The Dark Moon is conjunct chart lord Mercury within half a

degree. I do not want to make dire predictions, due to certain ethical and

philosophical reasons, so like you, I also "hope" that the shuttle landing will

go well. It must certainly be a very dangerous mission, but somehow I "feel" it

will go well anyway. Perhaps the landing will go as scheduled, and the Dark

Moon is pointing out something else. Perhaps NASA's shuttle program is not

exactly what it seems--does the shuttle program have some certain occult

significance of which the public is unaware? But now I am veering into my
