Guest guest
Dear friends, While we are sitting comfortably in our cosy homes, safe from the bites of one of the severest winters, there are numerous homeless and poor people who are spending freezing nights not knowing whether they will see the next day's sunrise or not. As a remedy for both saturn and rahu, one can donate old woolens and blankets to the needy, and believe me, you will not get a better time for it and more really needy people than now. A good wish for you from a needy person's heart is more powerfull than a thousand yagnas and havans. Regards, Ashutosh

Guest guest
I believe the 14th of Jan, Sankrati, is the traditional day to do this. Have asked my mom to distribute them on my behalf because there are more possibilities to do so in Delhi I guess. Hari Om ! Guest guest
Hi, Yes, 14th Jan is sankranti and it is normal tradition to donate on this day. Luckily, I have been doing this since my birth as it is our family practice for number of years. regards, neeraj --- Bioacoustics <bioacoustics wrote: > > > I believe the 14th of Jan, Sankrati, is the > traditional day to do this. > Have asked my mom to distribute them on my behalf > because there are more > possibilities to do so in Delhi I guess. > > Hari Om ! > > Shabnam > > ---- > > astrologerashutosh > 01/09/06 16:54:37 > > Cc: valist > Remedy for Saturn > > Dear friends, > > While we are sitting comfortably > in our cosy homes, safe > from the bites of one of the severest winters, there > are numerous homeless > and poor people who are spending freezing nights not > knowing whether they > will see the next day's sunrise or not. > > As a remedy for both saturn and rahu, one > can donate old woolens and > blankets to the needy, and believe me, you will not > get a better time for it > and more really needy people than now. Guest guest
Dear ashutosh, this is really good advise. Sometime ago, I have advised to donate old clothes for children below 8 years(in another group) and recently, for a client I told him to give away black shoes for orphans. For these remedies are not only simple than doing havans etc but also, are useful for somebody more directly and hence, hopefully more effective. While donating blankets for the poor, please ensure that they are not torn or old, preferably pitch black in color and if you are giving them away to handicapped, it will be more effective. Hope this helps.
