The Battle of Kurukshetra Revisited

To all members:

All of us has features in our chart that will test our mettle and to

perform our duties according to what is just and right. We need to be

reminded of what the Bhagavad Gita states: established in yoga,

perform actions. In other words, do what is right.

For example, if a person has the opposition of Saturn and the Sun in

the rashi or navamsha chart, it is more likely that he or she will be

tested in a situation whereby arguments will arise that will end up in

a battle or fight. For civilized individuals, this can occur in a

legal court. For others, the situation will foment wars and terrorism.

It is important to resolve these issues through the rule of law as

devised by the country of residence. No single person should interpret

what is legal based on one's own perception, belief or ideology.

Otherwise, there can only be criminality, anarchy and oppression.

In the final analysis, our charts will always have an underlying theme

of the battle between good and evil. In the vedic culture, this battle

is portrayed as the war on Kurukshetra or the wars between the demigods

and the rakshasas. In the Judeo-Christian tradition, the battle is

shown in the war in heaven between the angels and the followers of

Lucifer.

We are reenacting these battles daily in our own lives. Is there a

solution to this dilemma? .....More on this later.

Regards,

John R.
