Namaste Das and all:

I've been thinking along somewhat the same lines for the last few

days. I was pondering about how to describe the mechanics of the

resurrection in jyotish terms. Many yogis, including Christ, have

claimed to have mastered this feat.

As such, we can analyze the astroligical houses involved in this

phenomenon.

1. The moksha houses play a major role in the transformation of the

old to the new. The 8th house transforms the physical body (first

house) from its relative state to a new divine life (9th house).

The 12th house transforms our old thoughts and habits to revive our

physical body (1st house).

The 4th house transforms our careers and life battles (the 10th

house) to make room for new thoughts and ideas (the 5th house).

2. As seen above, the trinal houses manifest the newness in thoughts

body and spirit. The 9th house springs forth the new life after the

death of the body. The new life being the realm of pure

consciousness or the spirit.

The 1st house brings forth the physical health of the body after the

death of old and negative thoughts.

The 5th house augurs into the life of the individual the creativity

and new ideas, after being incurring the stress and bondage of career

and ambitions.

In short, there is a dynamic interplay of light and dark, the new and

old, the yin and yang in everyone's life. So too, it is possible to

have a resurrection of the body from its physical death. However,

the element of the 9th house, the divine life or power, is needed to

make this dynamism manifest in the relative life or the world.
